Since my early twenties, I’ve guided drummers from absolute beginners to professional level — and I still enjoy the craft just as much.
Learning to drum from the music itself
We play along with music in many styles, analyze grooves, and study influential drummers such as Steve Gadd, Tony Williams, Jeff Porcaro, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Grohl, Nate Smith, Questlove, Bill Stewart, and Chris “Daddy” Dave.

In the Badhuis on Diamantstraat, I have a fully equipped teaching studio with:
- two professional drum kits
- recording and playback equipment
- parking available right outside
- excellent public transport access

We work with material from, among others, Dante Agostini, Rick Latham, John Riley, Jack DeJohnette, Gary Chaffee, Gary Chester, Ted Reed and Lawrence Stone — supplemented with my own methods and studies.
