Dutch drummer/producer Franc auf dem Brinke (The Baarn Project, Humphrey Campbell, Deborah Carter, Agnes Gosling, Luisa Sobral) brings his favorite music with his favorite musician friends to clubs and venues in The Netherlands and abroad.
The Lakeside Rhythm Section takes you on a road trip back in time. We cruise the Californian West Coast and the Southern States of the ’70s & ’80s, pausing regularly to celebrate the singer-songwriters of the Southern Rock scene, the finest vocalists, bands, arrangers & producers—and their greatest tracks.
The 2026 ‘The Soundtrack of Our Era’ Tour is about the era’s best-known artists, the origins of legendary songs, the Laurel Canyon community, and much more. From The Eagles & The Doobie Bros to Crosby, Stills & Nash, and from The Doors to Joni Mitchell & Christopher Cross—the artists on the setlist paint a vivid portrait of this iconic historic period. In short: an atmospheric concert filled with familiar melodies, beautiful harmonies, immersive guitar sounds, and irresistible grooves.
The band features several outstanding vocalists, including the “one and only” Lo van Gorp (whose credits include Oleta Adams, Dutch Royal Scam, Dawn Patrol, and his own solo projects). Co-leading the group is none other than guitarist/producer Patrick Drabe (known for his work with Lo van Gorp, New Diamonds, Desray, The Baarn Project, and the Brooklyn R&B Project).
THE LAKESIDE RHYTHM SECTION takes its name from Lakeside Studios in Bussum—Drabe’s studio—where the band members regularly collaborate on various recording projects.
